We are recruiting an experienced Fiber Cabling Superintendent to join a major data center construction project.

This is a full-time, site-based role with an excellent per diem package available for candidates travelling to the project.

Recent data center construction experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee fiber optic cabling and structured cabling installation
  

• Manage low-voltage and telecom infrastructure
  

• Coordinate fiber pathways, racks, cabinets, terminations and testing
  

• Supervise subcontractors and field crews
  

• Manage fiber splicing, certification and testing
  

• Coordinate with electrical, security, controls and network teams
  

• Drive daily site coordination, sequencing and progress
  

• Monitor quality, safety and installation standards
  

• Support commissioning, turnover and project closeout
  

• Report progress, risks and field issues to project leadership
  

What We’re Looking For

• Recent data center or mission critical construction experience is essential
  

• Strong fiber optic cabling and structured cabling experience
  

• Previous Superintendent, Field Superintendent or Lead Supervisor experience
  

• Experience with fiber backbone installation, splicing, termination and testing
  

• Strong low-voltage / telecom construction knowledge
  

• Experience managing subcontractors and field teams
  

• Strong understanding of data center construction sequencing
  

• General Contractor, Construction Manager or major specialty contractor background preferred
  

• Strong communication and leadership skills
  

• Ability to work full-time on site
