DV Trading

DV Trading is a global proprietary trading firm and liquidity provider founded in 2006 in Chicago. The firm trades its own capital across derivatives, securities, fixed income, equities and commodities markets worldwide, applying proprietary strategies and risk management methodologies. It spun out in 2016 to operate independently and employs more than 450 people.

Technology is central to the firm's operations. Its technical domains span algorithmic and proprietary trading technology, market making, cryptocurrency market making, risk management systems and quantitative trading strategies. These systems support trading and liquidity provision across a broad range of asset classes and geographies.

DV Group comprises two broker-dealer entities, a cryptocurrency market making firm and an investment adviser. The firm maintains a presence across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with its headquarters and founding location in Chicago.
