ENFRA delivers energy infrastructure solutions across the United States, with a workforce of over 2,600 employees operating from 28 locations. The company's core capabilities span engineering, fabrication, mechanical and electrical construction, operations and maintenance, and asset management. Its client base includes sectors such as healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and industrial.
The company's primary commercial model is Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS), a vertically integrated approach to financing and delivering energy infrastructure projects. ENFRA's EaaS portfolio has surpassed $2 billion in financed projects, with guaranteed annual utility savings of $87 million. By 2021, the company had established 15 long-term EaaS partnerships and closed what was then the largest EaaS concession in U.S. history, alongside more than 20 partnerships nationwide.
ENFRA, formerly operating under the Bernhard brand, rebranded in May 2025 to reflect its focus on energy and infrastructure. The company is backed by a majority equity investment.
