Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of HVAC installers in various installation projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including ductwork, furnaces, air conditioning units, and related components.
- Review blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine optimal installation methods and requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers and customers to schedule installations and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the installation process.
- Train and mentor junior installers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify that installations meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during installations.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, labor hours, and project details for proper documentation and billing purposes.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to enhance job performance and provide innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience as an HVAC installer, with a proven track record of successfully leading installation teams.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to HVAC installations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., EPA 608 Universal, NATE certification) are highly desirable.
