Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of HVAC installers in various installation projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including ductwork, furnaces, air conditioning units, and related components.
  • Review blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine optimal installation methods and requirements.
  • Coordinate with project managers and customers to schedule installations and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the installation process.
  • Train and mentor junior installers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct quality inspections to verify that installations meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during installations.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used, labor hours, and project details for proper documentation and billing purposes.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to enhance job performance and provide innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an HVAC installer, with a proven track record of successfully leading installation teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to HVAC installations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., EPA 608 Universal, NATE certification) are highly desirable.
