Job Title:
Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer

Location:
The Crown Estate, Regent Street, St James, London.

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites. The ideal candidate will be Level 3 qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with strong building services knowledge and experience working in a client‑facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance across multiple buildings.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and general building services faults.
  • Complete compliance checks, record findings, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Respond promptly to call‑outs and ensure minimal disruption to client operations.
  • Support building fabric maintenance where required (basic plumbing, basic carpentry, HVAC checks, etc.).
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with H&S regulations and company procedures.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, building managers, and helpdesk teams.
  • Carry out small remedial works and minor installations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Strong building services knowledge (HVAC, plant rooms, pumps, lighting, AHUs, FCUs etc.).
  • Experience working in commercial facilities or multi‑site environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
  • Good understanding of health & safety and safe working practices.

Desirable Skills

  • 18th Edition (if electrically biased).
  • F‑Gas (if mechanically biased).
  • Experience working foot‑mobile within central London or similar environments.
