Account Manager - Data Center

Black Box is seeking an Account Manager – Data Centers to drive the development and management of strategic accounts, fostering business growth and building long-term relationships with clients in the Data Center industry. This professional will be responsible for identifying opportunities, leading complex negotiations, and promoting infrastructure and service solutions aligned with customer needs.

Requirements

  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in B2B consultative sales within the Data Center, Telecommunications, IT Infrastructure, or Technology sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Center solutions, structured cabling, connectivity, networking, critical infrastructure, power systems, and managed services.
  • Experience in preparing commercial proposals, managing sales pipelines, and sales forecasting.
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Established relationships with Data Center operators, colocation providers, hyperscalers, system integrators, or large enterprises that rely on critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of strategic clients within the Data Center segment.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Black Box and assigned customers.
  • Promote physical infrastructure solutions and services for Data Centers, aligning customer needs with the company's capabilities.
  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract renewal processes.
  • Collaborate with technical, engineering, and operations teams to develop competitive value propositions.
  • Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, executive presentations, and business cases.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities within the Data Center industry.
  • Ensure the achievement of sales targets, margin objectives, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Maintain and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics within the CRM system.
  • Participate in industry events, strategic meetings, and demand-generation initiatives to strengthen the Black Box brand.
