The Client
Datacenter People is partnering with a French design firm specializing in engineering, project management, and consultancy for various sectors including data center.

What The Job Involves

  • Business Development in France and Internationally.  

  • Managing the business development of the Data Center business in France and Europe. 

  • Identifying clients and projects to carry out Data Center Project Management (PMO)/Project Management (PM) assignments, from the early stages of the project: feasibility, outline.

  • Respond to calls for tenders, alone or as part of a consortium, including as an ad hoc General Contractor. 

  • Develop and maintain a relationship of trust with key market clients (hyperscales, GAFAM, operators, real estate companies, investors). 

  • Co-construct the growth strategy with the Department Director and the Development Manager. 

  • Identify and structure internal (other Group BUs) and external strategic partnerships. 

  • Position the company on high value-added offerings (resilience, energy performance, digital transition). 

  • Represent the company within specialized ecosystems (France Datacenter, Uptime Institute, conferences, etc.).

  • Contribute to the production of reference content (white papers, articles, studies).

  • Participate in national and European bodies and working groups Required.  

We Are Looking For Someone With

  • Engineer or equivalent, with at least 15 years of experience on complex industrial projects, including a significant portion in Data Centers. Significant international or export experience. 

  • Recognized in the market as an expert in the design and/or construction of data centers (standards: Uptime, TIA, EN50600, ASHRAE, etc.). 

  • Knowledge of hyperscale and GAFAM markets. 

  • Solid experience in international business development, particularly with Anglo-Saxon clients. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, and the ability to bring teams together across teams. 

  • Perfect command of fluent and technical English (oral and written). 

  • A taste for high-growth environments, structuring, strategy, and innovation.
