Kolo is a Northern European data center platform offering sovereign colocation, high-density GPU hosting for AI workloads, hybrid cloud connectivity, disaster recovery and network security across 12 locations.
Kolo is a Northern European data center platform, founded in 2023, that provides sovereign colocation and AI-optimised infrastructure services. The company operates 12 strategic locations across Northern Europe, including the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden, and is backed by CapMan Infra, a Nordic private asset investor. Kolo describes its infrastructure as 100% European-owned and operated, with no foreign ownership or outside jurisdiction, an arrangement intended to give customers full data sovereignty and operational control.
Its services span several technical domains. Sovereign colocation ranges from single units to private data halls. AI-ready infrastructure consists of high-density GPU racks optimised for AI workloads and low latency. The platform also offers hybrid cloud connectivity to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and sovereign clouds, alongside disaster recovery solutions and advanced network security services for protecting customer infrastructure.
Sustainability figures prominently in operations. In 2025 the company added three Eco Data Center sites in Sweden, and its backer, CapMan Infra, has committed to science-based climate targets and net-zero emissions by 2040. Kolo was formed through the unification of trusted regional operators under a single platform.
Customers include organisations in government, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, media, retail and SaaS, as well as network service providers.
