Langan

Langan is an integrated engineering and environmental consulting firm founded in 1970 and headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey. It provides site and civil engineering, geotechnical, environmental, energy, transportation, surveying, geospatial, landscape architecture and permitting services for complex projects. Data centers are among the industry verticals it serves, alongside land development, infrastructure, corporate real estate, renewable energy and transportation.

The firm supports projects across their full lifecycle, from site studies and planning through design, permitting, construction and operational asset management. Its workforce is multidisciplinary, encompassing engineers, environmental consultants, geologists, surveyors, planners and digital specialists. Langan operates in the United States and internationally.

Langan has also developed a set of digital tools for infrastructure and facility portfolios, including data-management, GIS, analytics and asset-management solutions. These sit alongside data management, analytics, asset management and digital solutions in its technical domains.

Leadership is in transition: David T. Gockel serves as President and CEO and will become Executive Chair when Ryan C. Linthicum assumes the role of CEO on January 1, 2027.
