Lenovo designs and manufactures PCs, workstations, servers, storage, edge and HPC systems, including liquid-cooled infrastructure, plus hybrid AI, hybrid cloud, software and services for 180 markets.

Lenovo designs and manufactures data-centre infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, edge computing offerings and high-performance computing (HPC) platforms. Its HPC portfolio includes liquid-cooled systems built for demanding AI and HPC workloads, alongside hybrid AI and hybrid cloud solutions that combine hardware, cloud and infrastructure capabilities. The company's technical work spans artificial intelligence, AI PCs, hybrid cloud, edge computing, data-centre modernisation and liquid-cooled infrastructure.

Beyond the data centre, Lenovo produces consumer and commercial PCs, workstations, tablets, smartphones, monitors and accessories, together with software and services that extend the hardware portfolio. The ThinkPad business notebook brand entered the company through its 2005 acquisition of IBM's personal computer business. Under the 'Smarter Technology for All' strategy, hardware, software and AI capabilities are offered across consumer electronics, enterprise IT, cloud infrastructure, high-performance computing, edge computing and education.

Founded in 1984 in Beijing, China, as Legend, Lenovo grew from a small team building computers for China's emerging technology market into a company serving 180 markets worldwide. Its international footprint was established largely through the 2005 IBM PC business acquisition. Corporate activity includes the Lenovo Cares foundation, support for STEM education and initiatives that widen community access to technology.
