Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Job Site Presence– Maintain adailyon-site presence during normal construction hours.
  • Safety Program Management– Implement and maintainsafety policies, procedures, and programsfor data center construction.
  • Safety Documentation– Create and manage Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and Pre-Task Safety Analyses (PTSA)
  • Regulatory Compliance– Ensure adherence toOSHA and local safety regulations; conduct regular job site inspections.
  • Incident Investigation– Investigateaccidents, near-misses, and hazards; recommend corrective actions.
  • Training & Compliance– Providesafety trainingand ensure workers meet required certifications.
  • Communication & Reporting– Serve as theprimarysafetycontact, report incidents, and maintain documentation.
  • Collaboration– Work withproject managers and crewsto integrate safety into operations.
  • Equipment Oversight– Monitor properPPE usageand ensure safety equipment is maintained.
  • Specialized Support (Preferred)– Assist withcabling tasksand providesafety insightsfor data center operations.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-years of relevant safetyexperience in construction
  • OSHA 30
  • Can proficiently develop a JHA: Job Hazard Analysis and PTSA: Pre-Task Safety Analysis
  • Proven experience inon-the-job safety adherenceand regulatory compliance.
  • Effectivewritten and verbal communicationskills.
  • Highly structured with strong attention to detail.
  • Coachable, takes direction well, and works effectively with others.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check & drug screen.

Preferred Safety Certifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, Occupational Health, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • OSHA 510/500
  • STSC and/or CHST
  • NFPA 70E
  • Fall Protection Competency
  • Confined Space Competency
  • Bilingual Advantage– Fluent inEnglish & Spanish.
  • Data Center Expertise– Experienced inActive Data Center Operations.
  • Telecom & Cabling Skills– Practical experience innetwork cabling, termination, and closet builds.
  • Construction Knowledge– Ability toread construction drawingsand implement cabling pathways.

Pay Rate:

$35.00 - $45.00/hour
