- Gather and analyze customer requirements and design appropriate server, storage, and data backup solutions.
- Prepare BOMs, sizing, and configurations using vendor configuration and assessment tools.
- Write technical proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs and tenders, and prepare compliance sheets.
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, and PoCs to customers (remotely and during on-site visits to KSA).
- Work with distributors and vendor channel teams on deal registration and special pricing.
- Support the sales team in customer meetings as the technical authority.
- Own the technical pre-sales cycle for data center infrastructure — enterprise servers, storage, and data backup solutions, with a focus on Dell Technologies & HPE portfolios.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of pre-sales / solutions engineering experience at a system integrator or IT solutions provider, focused on data center hardware.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Dell Technologies or HPE solutions — servers, storage, and backup.
- Good understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), backup solutions, SAN/NAS, and RAID concepts.
- Dell or HPE certifications are a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Excellent presentation and proposal-writing skills in English and Arabic.
- Willingness to travel periodically to Saudi Arabia.
