  • Working within a 24/7/365 environment, you will act as a trusted partner across operations, collaborating with teams to enhance processes, improve performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences

What you'll do

As a Building Services Shift Technician, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the site, ensuring the ongoing performance and reliability of all facility services. You'll Act as the key interface for any projects within the property, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace with planned and reactive maintenance, through the helpdesk and supply partners.

In addition, you’ll be:

  • Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment through planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring 100% uptime
  • Delivering facilities services in line with approved procedures, standards, and service level agreements
  • Supporting M&E upgrades, project work, and infrastructure investment initiatives
  • Managing and controlling permit-to-work systems for maintenance and project activities
  • Monitoring and reviewing key performance indicators, identifying trends and implementing improvements
  • Ensuring compliance with operational standards, quality processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Managing supplier and contractor relationships to optimise performance and value for money
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and suppliers
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on facilities operations, risk, and compliance

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a solid technical background and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, critical environment.

We'll also look to you to bring:

  • HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with building services and M&E systems in a critical environment
  • Strong understanding of risk, compliance, and safety management practices
