The Data Center Facilities Engineer provides engineering expertise for mission-critical data center infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable, resilient, and efficient operations. The role requires strong practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to independently assess, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and operational issues.
The engineer supports critical environment maintenance, incident and change management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, commissioning, and operational readiness of new and expanding data centers. The role collaborates closely with Data Center Operations, Design, Construction, Commissioning, colocation providers, OEMs, vendors, and contractors to maintain engineering standards and ensure infrastructure is safely integrated into live operations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate sound engineering judgment, strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. The role also contributes to continuous improvement, technical standards, knowledge sharing, and mentoring across the organization.
