MEP Coordinator - HVAC - Zagreb/EMEA Travel
Location: 50% office / 50% travel to customer sites.
We have an office/factory in Zagreb, and the role requires frequent travel (at least 50%) throughout EMEA.

About the Role
Vertiv is hiring a MEP Coordinator - HVAC to oversee and coordinate the installation and testing of HVAC systems across key construction and infrastructure projects. In this role, you’ll ensure that all HVAC installations meet design specifications, energy-efficiency expectations, safety requirements, and project timelines.
You’ll work closely with engineers, contractors, and site managers to ensure smooth execution, identify and resolve technical issues, and deliver high-quality project outcomes. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support presales teams with your HVAC expertise and practical experience.
- Prepare project execution plans and organizational structures.
- Ensure all HVAC works comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with site managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues.
- Provide operational training and support to client personnel.
- Prepare detailed construction and progress reports, including documentation of issues encountered.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC industry standards, technologies, and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organised, and technically strong individual with excellent communication skills. You should have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, for example working as an HVAC Engineer, HVAC Package Manager, Mechanical Engineer, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of a wide range of HVAC systems and technologies.
- Proficiency with testing, commissioning, and diagnostic equipment.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required (approx. 50%+).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment
This position includes a combination of office-based work and on-site project coordination across diverse environments. The successful candidate must be able to adapt to changing site conditions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
