POSITION SUMMARY:
- Mechanical or electrical technician (specialist in the installation of cooling and ventilation systems) responsible for the implementation of the HVAC segment of the project.
- Workplace: Rugvica, with frequent business travel and work anywhere in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa), and outside the EMEA region if needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring HVAC installation in the factory
- Attending FAT in the factory
- Equipment testing in the factory as needed
- Installation of HVAC equipment on-site
- Performing L2 and L3 inspections on-site
- Commissioning and testing of HVAC equipment
- Supporting the commissioning team during HVAC equipment testing
- Technical Project Preparation:
- Technical elaboration of the installation process
- Advisory role in the preparation of cost estimates
- Participation in the preparation of quality control processes
- Technical planning of work execution
- Project Execution:
- Supervising and managing installation teams on-site
- Participating in quality control processes (assurance and inspection)
- Participating in functional testing (commissioning)
- Leading HVAC work segments on-site
- Reviewing and approving contractor invoices
- Implementing occupational health and safety measures
- Supporting the commissioning team during testing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Secondary or higher education in mechanical or electrical field
- Minimum 2 years of work experience
- Basic knowledge of English
- Valid driver’s license (Category B)
- Skills: Basic MS Office, Outlook, Internet
- Willingness for frequent and multi-week travel
- Willingness to work with various companies and workers of different skill levels
- Willingness to work in large teams with people of different cultures and business ethics, and independently when needed
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- This position involves a combination of mostly on-site work at various project locations, and occasional factory and office work. The successful candidate must be able to work in different environments and adapt to changing conditions. Safety is a top priority, and all work must be conducted in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
