Valley Wide Cooperative is a farmer-owned agricultural cooperative founded in 1920. The cooperative operates across eight western US states, including Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada, and California, serving more than 60 communities. Its business spans agriculture, energy, and retail, supporting sectors such as livestock, grain production, specialty crop farming, and construction.
The company operates through three primary divisions. The Agronomy Division provides crop protection and nutrition products. Energy Operations supplies fuels, propane, lubricants, and oils. The Valley Wide Country Stores are retail outlets offering farm and ranch supplies, pet products, outdoor equipment, and apparel.
As a cooperative, Valley Wide is member-owned and governed. Members hold voting rights, may serve on the board of directors, and can receive patronage distributions. The cooperative model is designed to increase bargaining power and achieve economies of scale for its farmer-owners.
